wandering Willie ain't got much on me, I don't think I'm very good company unless you've got a strong personality and for that I blame myself,

laying Lillies in the garden, I try hard to plant them, growing better than I grow myself, and I won't get sick of trying even though they're dying pot planting my heart in the yard

Cause we've all got something or got nothing, for now, I've got you,
Cause we've all got someone or got no one, I've got a pot plant or two

well, I had a little yard, I thought I'd replant and now I've got a lump of dirt, who would of thunk it so hard to grow some grass, they looked like simple seeds,

and I had a group of friends I thought well I could grow them into better people, like me, but no one wants to change and it's getting too late to start expecting better personalities
